Covenant Marriage at Redland

We, the congregation of Redland, are making a concerted effort to establish Jesus as the sure foundation and the center of all our marriages and all our families. We have determined to learn how God would have us do life, loving and encouraging each other, remaining committed in hard times, forgiving and sacrificing the way Jesus did for us. With God’s help, we will honor the vows we took before Him to stay united with our spouses, and to raise our children in homes where two parents are committed to Him and to each other.

As an outward demonstration of our resolve, we once again committed our marriages to the lordship of Jesus Christ in a Covenant Marriage Ceremony that took place on Sunday, February 13, 2011.

In the year 2011, RPHC will focus on stepping into the life and vitality in our marriages and families that Jesus came to Earth to bring us. As a result, we will continuously offer classes and small groups where we can learn and perfect relationship tools, and where we can encourage each other in our efforts. We will support healthy marriages through preparing couples for marriage, and assisting married couples experiencing difficulties, and will provide Mentor couples to walk beside and encourage others. We will utilize the Bible as our primary book of instruction, but also draw from anointed contemporary works by experts in the field.

We seek to grow in Christ as we honor Him in our family and marriage relationships, and become a comfort and hope to those needing direction and encouragement.
